    Opuntia basilaris commonly known as the Beavertail prickly pear, is a species of cactus native to commonly known as the purple prickly pear, is a species of cactus native to Pima County, Arizona in the United States and Baja California, Chihuahua, and Sonora in Mexico.

    Under extreme environmental conditions, it may be necessary to apply frost cloth in winter & shade cloth in summer in order to protect your plant.
