Agave are hearty, unique & rustic looking plants. While we select our plants for their natural beauty, some blemishes, light scarring, and corking (woody/ darker tissue) near the base should be expected, and is completely natural.
Agave attenuata prefer relatively moist loamy soil, although it can cope with poor soil and dry conditions. It should be protected from extream sunlight in summer with a shade-cloth and frost-cloth for long periods of freeze.
